For almost 20 years now, since our Yaya —the Catalan word for granny— started cooking her famous paellas, this piece of paradise in the middle of the Ses Salines natural reserve, with marvelous views over the island of Formentera, Es Cavallet beach and the Mediterranean Sea, has attracted people from all over the world. But especially the locals.
With always high-quality, fresh and when possible local food grown on the island, our menu aims to please. We serve authentic Spanish and Mediterranean-influenced cuisine including seafood, prime cuts of meat and a good selection for vegetarians. For the more modern palates, dishes like Thai style chicken or Californian sushi do the trick. Our specialities are paella, Gallo San Pedro served with Ibicenco-style patatoes and Boquerones Mami, all made with love from our original family recipes.

Dear everyone at La Escollera, thank you so much for an amazing wedding day, absolutely every detail was perfect, we couldn’t have been happier as to how the day went, it was amazing. All of our guests were highly impressed with the setting, the food, the drinks and not least the staff, who were friendly, attentive and professionally. Many of the guests commented that they would be retuning to the restaurant in their own time, and I really hope they do.
